アーティスト、ライター、ガーデナーとして幅広く活動するジョアンナ・タガダ・ホフベックを迎え、ワークショップを開催します。現在イギリス・オックスフォードシャーを拠点とする彼女にとって、今回の来日は約6年ぶりとなります。
お茶にまつわる出版プロジェクト「Journal du Thé」の共同創設者であり、アートプロジェクト「Poetic Pastel」を主宰するなど、多様な表現の分野で広く支持を集めているジョアンナ。本ワークショップでは、そうした活動の延長として、植物を観察しながらドローイングを行い、その作品をもとに、アートジンを作ります。日常的に創作活動を行っている方はもちろん、絵を描くことからしばらく離れている方にも。描くことの喜びをあらためて感じたり、新たな視点に出会うきっかけとなるでしょう。
本ワークショップは、彼女が2021年に立ち上げたプロジェクト「The Gardening Drawing Club」のアプローチをもとに構成されています。これまでイギリス、イタリア、韓国で開催され、多くの方に親しまれてきました。今回、日本では初めての開催となります。この機会にぜひご参加ください。
