▪️フェイイ・ウェン
1990年、中国・北京生まれ。ロンドンを拠点に活動するビジュアルアーティスト、リサーチャー。ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートで写真の修士号を、UCLスレード美術学校で実践に基づくファインアートの博士号を取得している。彼女の制作は、東洋的なものの見方と、自然界に宿るかすかな詩情への深い関与に根ざしている。そのイメージは繊細で有機的、そして静謐に立ち現れ、知覚と省察、曖昧さが共存する観想的な空間を生み出すことで、文字どおりの再現＝表象を超えていく。道教の二元論、東アジアの山水の伝統、そして文学的な感性に依拠しながら、ウェンは複数の手法とプロセス——とりわけ印刷技法に重きを置きつつ——を幾重にも重ね合わせ、自然のはかなさを喚起し、経験や形象、そして時と場所に潜むリズムとの親密な出会いへと観る者を誘う。国際的に発表を重ねており、近年の主な展覧会に Albion Jeune（ロンドン、2025年）、シャネル・ネクサス・ホール（東京、2024年）、Serchia Gallery（ブリストル、2023年）での個展・二人展がある。また、ハリバン・アワード（2021年）、三影堂撮影賞（2018年）、マグナム・グラデュエイト・フォトグラファーズ・アワード（2016年）、ライカ・オスカー・バルナック・ニューカマー・アワード（2015年）を受賞している。

▪️Feiyi Wen
(b. 1990, Beijing, China) is a visual artist and researcher who lives and works in London. She holds a Master’s degree in Photography from the Royal College of Art and a practice-led PhD in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL. Her practice is rooted in a deep engagement with Eastern ways of seeing and the subtle poetry of the natural world. Her images are delicate, organic, and quietly rendered. They transcend literal representation by creating contemplative spaces where perception, reflection, and ambiguity coexist. Drawing on Taoist dualism, East Asian landscape traditions, and literary sensibilities, Wen layers together multiple methods and processes, with particular attention to printing, to evoke nature’s ephemeral qualities and invite intimate encounters with experience, form, and the hidden rhythms of time and place. She has exhibited internationally, including solo and duo shows at Albion Jeune, London (2025), Chanel Nexus Hall, Tokyo (2024), and Serchia Gallery, Bristol (2023), and has been recognised by the Hariban Award (2021), Three Shadows Photography Award (2018), Magnum Graduate Photographers Award (2016), and Leica Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award (2015).

▪️河内タカ
美術評論家・キュレーター
長年にわたりニューヨークを拠点にして、リチャード・プリンスやナン・ゴールディンを含む展覧会のキュレーションと、アートブックや写真集の編集を数多く手がけ、2011年に帰国。現在は京都・便利堂にて写真の古典印刷技法であるコロタイプの普及活動を行い、今回の出版に向けて便利堂でFeiyi Wenのプリントを制作した。美術・建築・デザインなど幅広い分野で執筆し、著書に『アートの入り口』アメリカ編・ヨーロッパ編（太田出版）、『芸術家たち』1・2（オークラ出版）などがある。

▪️Taka Kawachi
Art Critic / Curator
After many years based in New York, where he curated exhibitions including those featuring Richard Prince and Nan Goldin and edited numerous art and photography books, Kawachi returned to Japan in 2011. He is currently based at Benrido in Kyoto, where he works to promote collotype, a traditional photographic printing process. For this publication, he was also involved in producing Feiyi Wen’s collotype prints at Benrido. He writes extensively on art, architecture, design, and other fields. His publications include The Entrance to Art: America / Europe (Ohta Publishing) and Artists Vols. 1 and 2 (Oakla Publishing).
